Extreme Machines September 24, 2016
Hop on Route 32 to bring the family to the Extreme Machines event September 24, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the 7th Ave Parking lot of the Expo Center. The fun-filled event is great for all ages.
There will be hands-on opportunity to explore more than 75 working trucks and vehicles of all types and meet people who build, protect and serve the community.
The machines include construction and logging trucks, heavy equipment trucks, emergency and military vehicles, vintage trucks, tractors, buses (including an RCT bus of course), boats, race cars, amphibious vehicles and a hot air balloon.
The event is free, but donations will be accepted to support the Longview Parks and Recreation after-school scholarship fund.
Extreme Machines is sponsored by Five Rivers Construction, Port of Longview, Cowlitz PUD, PR Worth Excavation, United Site Services, Lower Columbia Contractors Association, Cowlitz County Utilities Coordinating Council and McCoy Trucking.
The first 500 children receive a hard hat.
