October Service Changes

Effective October 2, 2023, RiverCities Transit is making changes to routes 45, 46, and 411 (Lexington Connector).

Route 45

Route 45 will have an additional trip, Monday – Friday at 4:30 pm departing the Transit Center.

Route 46

RiverCities Transit is adjusting the routing on Route 46. Once on 15th Avenue, Route 46 will continue south until Beech St., where it will turn left and continue to the 7th Ave Wal-Mart. The other change is after the bus leaves the Longview Transit Center. Rather than turn on Hudson the bus will continue to Broadway St. and then turn left on 7th Ave, right on Catlin St, then onto the Kelso Train Depot.

Route 411 – Lexington Connector

The changes to Route 411 – Lexington Connector include both additional service and a slight routing change. Route 411 will have an additional run at 1:15; filling one of the two gaps that are currently in the weekday schedule. Currently the bus travels north on 411 to Tim Wa mobile home park; the service change has the bus turning at Aaron Drive, left on Desert Inn, left on Ponderosa, then south on 411.

Route 33 Detour and On-Demand Service

Due to road construction along 46th Avenue starting on February 8th and continuing into summer 2023, Route 33 will detour by continuing west along Ocean Beach Hwy at 42nd Ave. Route 33 will stop at the Route 44 bus stop located at 42nd Ave & Ocean Beach Hwy. Route 33 and Route 44 will temporarily stop near Guadalajara Grill & Cantina (Ocean Beach Hwy & 46th Ave).

RiverCities Transit will also provide next-day on-demand service to Route 33 stops on the Olympia Way loop. RiverCities Transit will transport passengers to or from bus stops on Olympia Way or the temporary stop on Windemere St at Merlin St.  Passengers may be picked up or dropped off at Route 33 stops or the Transit Center.

RiverCities Transit will transport passengers to and from the Olympia Way loop during Route 33’s typical departure times of 18 to 20 minutes after the hour, starting at 7 AM. The last trip is at 6 PM, Monday through Friday. The final departure on Saturday is at 5:20 PM from Olympia Way.

Please call (360) 442-5667 to schedule your ride; you will need to provide schedulers with the date and time of the trip, the bus stop you want to be picked up at, and your desired destination.
