Service Changes Effective Oct 12, 2026

The outcome of the public hearing was to discontinue the commuter bus service to Rainier Oregon due to low ridership. The associated funding will be used to add additional weekday evening service to five local routes. Below is a summary of those service changes that will begin on Monday. October 12, 2026.

RiverCities Transit Service Changes

Effective October 12, 2026

Route 31: Add a 7:00 p.m. departure from the Longview Transit Center. The return trip will end at Beech Street and 15th Avenue.

Route 32: Add a 7:00 p.m. departure from the Longview Transit Center. The return trip will end at the St. John Medical Center main entrance.

Route 33: Add a 7:00 p.m. departure from the Longview Transit Center. The return trip will end at 15th Avenue and Hemlock Street (Safeway).

Route 45: Adjust the timetable to improve transfer connections at the Longview Transit Center on the 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. trips.  Add a 7:00 p.m. departure with the return trip ending at the Longview Transit Center.

Route 57: Add a 7:20 p.m. departure from the Kelso Amtrak Depot, with the return trip ending at Washington Way and 9th Avenue.

Route 433: Discontinue commuter bus service due to low ridership, effective at the end of service on Friday, October 9, 2026.

RiverCities Transit LIFT: ADA paratransit service provided by LIFT will extend its hours to match fixed-route service.
